Sit by a crackling wood-stove fire; snuggle under the covers of your king size bed, enjoy your large walk-in shower for two or spend time in your own private hot tub while enjoying the view from your glass font deck. Irwin Lake Chalets offers you that idyllic retreat you’ve been craving! Your BBQ is conveniently situated on your covered deck to allow you to BBQ any time of the year. The warm country decor, the glow from the wood fire, the sound of loons on the lake… will take you to another world.
We offer summer opportunities for Nova Scotia swimming, canoeing and kayaking on Irwin Lake. Wildlife observation, bird watching and other Atlantic Canada outdoor activities as well as winter snowshoeing. This chalet has a queen pull out sofa. This is our only chalet that is not pet friendly. View our Pet Policy.
Amenities:
King sized bed, large walk-in shower, private covered hot tub with glass front deck! Wood stove with glass door, wood is provided. Apartment sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker with Keurig, dishes, pots & pans, silverware, bedding, towels, paper products, salt, pepper, sugar and hand soap are provided. Propane BBQ on covered deck. Propane provided. Window air conditioning unit is available in the summer.
Outdoor Activities:
Acres of forest to explore! Several kms of wood roads. Fishing and swimming in lake. Canoe and kayak rentals. Picnic table at each chalet. In the winter, bring your snowshoe. After fun in the cold, cozy up to the wood stove in your chalet.
Restrictions:
No smoking permitted inside your chalet. No television reception or phones. TV and DVD player provided with an array of movies to chose from. Minimum 2 night stay on week ends. This chalet does not accept pets. This is life at Mother Nature’s pace. Rate is based on double occupancy. Will sleep 4 (queen pull our sofa) with $20/extra per person, per night charge.
